The device’s dual cleaning system means that you can choose from standard ultrasonic cleaning or the more powerful and intense Max Clean mode. Max Clean mode runs for 15 minutes, oscillating between high pressure, intense ultrasonic bursts, and consistent ultrasonic cleaning waves. This effectively scrubs your appliance, whilst periodically applying high pressure bursts to penetrate deeper layers of debris. This combination is perfect for tackling stubborn buildup.
Only using a cleaning tablet is like cleaning your teeth with toothpaste but no toothbrush. Tablets alone can only treat the surface of your appliance and can't reach the buildup embedded in crevices.
Toothbrushes are abrasive and can create scratches, creating grooves for even more buildup, making your appliance look cloudy. Plus, using a toothbrush won't allow you to clean in hard to reach crevices.
The tank and base are separate, detachable components, meaning you can fill, empty and clean the tank without having to unplug from the power source. Simply lift off the tank and place under a tap for filling or emptying, whilst the power inlet on the base can easily be kept away from the water source.

Yes! Despite the Pro having market-leading cleaning power, the ultrasonic cleaning method is completely non-abrasive. It creates millions of micro bubbles, which softly but thoroughly clean the entire surface of the appliance without causing any damage.
We recommend a daily clean, but the recommended cleaning schedule will vary with each oral appliance. We encourage you to check the instructions provided by your dentist.
You can clean your Dental Pod Pro's tank with a Zima Cleaning Wipe, or simply use a gentle soap with water. Use one wipe to remove debris and loose plaque build up after a cleaning cycle finishes.
This is not what the Dental Pod Pro was designed, engineered and tested to clean. However, many customers have let us know that they have had success cleaning jewellery. This Dental Pod makes cleaning my vivera retainer trays so easy. I used to scrub them with a toothbrush, but they never looked completely clean. Big difference with the dental pod and adding the cleaning tablet. They feel so clean and fresh after.
It is a great product but the advertising is misleading. The video show the unit as it is working with charged batteries as you don’t see the electrical cord. It doesn’t mention that you should use tablets . We purchased it because we are travelling and obviously having to plus it in is note the best approach. We are leaving for Europe and we did ask it was safe to use it with an adaptor but we were told that they didn’t know!! Let’s hope it will not blow up .

It’s super easy in the morning while I drink my coffee I pop my Invisalign in my Zima with a cleaning tab and it’s super fresh for the day I’ll do it before bed too! Super easy to use and it does make a difference my first Invisalign I didn’t use the Zima and it had a yellowish tint and my second one did not and I did use the Zima

This is my second ultrasonic cleaner for my retainers. The first was an inexpensive model. It lasted about a year and was a little bulkier and made more noise. I love the Zina I bought. Takes up less space and I like that lid comes off for drying purposes. Worth the money.

My orthodontist recommended this to get the weird white residue and horrifying smell off my retainers. I brush them every day, so I was surprised at the state of them. So far so great! I've had it for just over 2 weeks and it has significantly improved the clarity of my retainer. Very grateful for a device (zima) that helps prevent the erosion of the enamel due to bacteria, from a device (retainer) meant to protect from the erosion of enamel from grinding. I feel as though this device should be sold with a night guard/retainer/etc., or it renders them counterintuitive if they're not being cleaned. Thank you for this product!

I recently heard about the Dental Pod after complaining to a friend that no matter WHAT I did, my retainer always seemed to have an odor and never looked truly crystal clear. Zima dental pod pro was recommended to me by my dentist to keep my overnight mandibular splint clean. It's fantastic. Cleans my splint, I mostly use the long clean setting, while I get ready in the morning. After using this for a month, i’m beyond pleased! before the zima pod, i was using a cleaning tablet in a cup of water. not nearly as effective. even with just water, this ultrasonic cleaner gets my invisalign trays really really clean. it’s satisfying seeing what it picked up off of my trays when i open the lid after the cycle is over! i recommend this to everyone now. seriously worth the money.
